About Peniel Global Foundation (PGF)
Peniel Global Foundation (PGF) is a Community-based, not for profit, Non-Governmental Organization taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable diseases among the indigent poor, particularly in Osun State and other States in the South West Nigeria. Founded by Aderonke Ayilara in the year 2005 and registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigeria in 2007.
PGF is strictly a non-partisan organisation. We run cutting-edge grassroots campaigns, lobbying political leaders and pressurizing governments to do more in Health, Justice and Development thematic areas. Our areas include; fighting AIDS, preventable and treatable diseases; addressing Human Rights challenges of women and children; promotion of good governance; combating corruption so that governments are accountable to their citizens and economic empowerment among others in the poorest communities in Osun State and other States in the South West, Nigeria.
PGF staff and volunteers are critical to this work. They come from every walk of life and from across the political spectrum. They take action day in - day out, organizing, mobilizing, educating, and advocating so that people will have the chance not just to survive, but to thrive.
PGF is based in Osogbo, Osun State and funded almost entirely by foundations, individual philanthropists and corporations.

A frontline organization promoting  holistic improvement of children, youths and women in area of health, justice and development.

To invest in and improve the lives of children, youths and women who have been deprived of good health, governance and justice through innovative programmes, strategies and projects in Nigeria and beyond.

We put women and children in the center because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.

1) Mrs Aderonke Ayilara: FMLCN, MSc, PGD Management
Mrs Aderonke Ayilara was born over four decades ago. She is a fellow of the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria. She obtained her post Graduate Diploma in Management from Imo State University, Owerri and MSc from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho. Her experience in the public and private service has spanned over twenty years. She has passion for developmental work which has made her participate in both local and international trainings and seminars. She is currently studying for her PHD in LAUTECH University, Ogbomosho.

2) Dr O. O. Ogunkunle: MBBS, MPH
Dr Olukayode Ogunkunle  is a medical practitioner of over thirty years experience in civil service. He obtained his MBBS and Masters in Public Health from the University of Ibadan. His practice has spanned several years in civil service and Non Governmental Organization. He has attended several trainings and seminars within and outside Nigeria on Public Health.

3) Dr Tunde Adegbola: MBBS, FWACS
Dr Tunde Adegbola is a medical practitioner of over twenty five years experience. He is a fellow of the West Africa College of Surgeons. He has travelled very wide and has worked  in Nigeria and other places in the world. His contribution to the organisation is quite immeasurable.

4) Mr Adejobi Akinlade M. A

Mr  Adejobi Akinlade is a septuagenarian who retired as a teacher and a clergy man after several years in service. He holds a BA in Community Development and Social Welfare and  Masters degree in  Adult Education from Obafemi Awolowo University ,Ile Ife. He has worked closely with the youths and the young ones in rural areas for long and has been involved in social and religious work. He lives in Ile –Ife Osun State.

5) Mr Olusegun Ayilara: LLB, BL, LLM, ACE
Mr Olusegun Ayilara is a legal practitioner of over twenty years at the bar. He holds a Masters Degree in law and he is currently working to obtain his PhD in the University of Ilorin. He is well experienced in the public and private sector.


Partners

The World Bank in collaboration with Osun State Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (OSACA).

OSACA works with PGF to improve the health status of women and adolescents. We also identify with People Living with HIV, with particular emphasis on women in Osun State through sustaining research and programming to address gender issues, reduction in HIV transmission, promotion of use of health centres by pregnant women to reduce maternal and infant mortality and reduction in the patronage of Traditional Birth Attendants.



The Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis in collaboration with Health Alive Foundation.
The support from these partners have made PGF to become a champion in the integrated family health initiative, towards the eradication of Tuberculosis in Osun State.

Africa Development Bank in collaboration with Rural Water and Environmental Sanitation (RUWESA) Osun State.
Osun RUWESA is a supporter of PGF’s efforts to improve water and sanitation. Their commitment to innovation has been a decisive factor in PGF’s ability to maximize the effectiveness of our programme in this area.

PGF FINANCIAL INFORMATION:
PGF takes great pride in our financial efficiency and accountability. We work to maximize the value of every fund we receive. More than 80 percent of our expended resources support our pro-poor projects. Less than 20 percent of expended resources go toward administrative and fundraising costs. We encourage you to investigate our claims before you donate.

PGF AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS:
PGF provides a financial statement from a certified independent auditor every year as a part of our Annual Report.

Where We Work
We are on the ground in Osun State and other states in South West, Nigeria, working to advocate in the fight for policy change that affect people of Nigeria.
